Custom hybrid app tilesBuilding on the existing ability to create custom Display App Tiles, and Form App Tiles, this release adds support for Custom Hybrid App Tiles through the tile builder and Bring Your Own Integration (BYOI) framework. These tiles allow users to show information as well as take actions for third-party applications interactions directly from the intranet dashboard to any third-party application. App managers can configure action-oriented API actions, to power use cases like updating a service ticket, or approving for PTO without leaving Simpplr. They can also define how to handle success and error states to ensure a smooth user experience. |

More pre-built app tilesWe are enhancing the pre-built app tiles library with a powerful new visualization capability for JIRA. This update empowers users to view insightful charts derived from JIRA data, right within their dashboards, helping teams monitor and analyze key metrics at a glance. In addition, the JIRA Service Desk pre-built app tile now allows app/site managers to configure custom cover image for the tile. Configurable terms and servicesAdmins can now hide, rename, or replace the “Terms of Service” and “Privacy Policy” links that appear in the intranet footer, without code changes or support tickets. A one-time legal acknowledgement ensures your organization already has a signed MSA (or equivalent), so both your org and Simpplr remain protected.

Improved content locking to prevent editing conflictsWe’ve improved the content locking feature to help prevent editing conflicts. Now, when you start editing a page, event, or album, others won’t be able to make changes at the same time. If you’re inactive for a while, you’ll get a prompt asking if you want to continue. If you close the page or remain inactive for too long, editing access will be released so others can take over. While only one person can edit at a time, everyone can still view the content. This update helps protect your changes and makes collaboration smoother. |

Filters in content feed for comments and questionsWe've added filters in the content feed for questions and comments. Upon selection, the filters will also show the total number of comments and questions.

New custom field typesWe’re introducing new custom field types—Email, URL, Date, URL, Single select menu and multi-select menu, to give admins greater flexibility in capturing and managing user profile data. These field types help ensure data consistency, enable richer user profiles, and allow better validation of inputs. This enhancement empowers admins to collect the right kind of information based on their organization’s unique needs. |

Personalization of Apps and linksWe’re introducing greater personalization for end users through custom links and enhanced favorites management. Users can now add their own custom links, mark any app or link as a favorite, and manage their favorites by sorting and reordering them to suit their preferences. All favorites are easily accessible from the Favorites page via the Apps and Links tab, giving users quick access to what matters most to them. |

Improved structure and new additions in the Extensibility centerTo make API navigation easier and support more flexible workflows, we’ve made some important updates to how APIs are grouped and introduced new options for managing site and content categories with new APIs in the Extensibility center. We’ve added a new Sites group to both the User and B2B sections. All existing site-specific APIs have been moved here from the Content group. This change is aimed at improving how related APIs are organized, so you can find and manage them more easily.
These updates are designed to give you more control over how site and page content is organized, especially when building custom integrations. |

Profile field mapping for API parameters You can now map non-configurable API parameters to user profile fields. This allows sensitive or user-specific data such as user IDs or emails to be passed automatically and securely during API execution. It is especially useful when you want to restrict users from editing these values or when you are syncing external IDs through user provisioning. Only non-editable profile fields can be mapped, and once mapped, they remain locked to prevent changes. During runtime, the system fills these parameters automatically using the logged-in user’s profile information, ensuring secure and consistent integration with third-party applications. |

Filters in content feed for comments and questions We now have achieved parity for the content feed section by adding the filters for questions and comments. It will also show the number of comments, questions and also the total number of questions plus comments.
