Sandbox intranet environments

Sandbox Overview

Simpplr offers sandbox environments to all customers who are interested in testing new features and integrations before the GA date of each release. 

It's important to note that no user data can be copied from your production environment. All data in your sandbox will be test data, including:

  • People
  • Content
  • Sites
  • User data

You CAN create new data as you wish.

To request a sandbox: 

1. If you are going through onboarding, please contact your project manager or implementation consultant

2. If you are already live in our platform, please put in a Support ticket here

Note:

Sandbox licenses are capped at 100.

We recommend using your sandbox for testing new features and enhancements. Your sandbox will be updated 1-2 weeks prior to the General Availability date (GA), Sandbox release schedule can be found here

Sandbox cleanup 
Our sandboxes will be cleaned up based on the following conditions:

  • There are no logins for more than 6 months, or

  • It’s been 2 months since the sandbox was marked expired, or

  • It’s been 2 months since the sandbox was marked inactive.

This helps ensure optimal performance and efficient use of resources.

    With the AWS transition, we requested a sandbox. But I have no idea how to access it :/

  • Hi Michelle. Your CSM should be able to get you up and running on the sandbox if you haven't yet accessed it.
