Improvements

Core platform

Users will now receive an in-app notification after being @mentioned in a piece of content, comment or feed post
The events calendar view is now responsive and has been optimized for smaller screens
People managers now have access to a My team dashboard that gives them insights to their direct reports' engagement across the intranet. Learn more
Ghostwriting is now available. Pre-approved Content managers can now publish content on behalf of a specified author. Learn more
Celebration tiles have been improved to highlight past and upcoming events. Learn more

Integrations

The Slack integration with Simpplr has been upgraded to include several new features, and is now Bring Your Own App (BYOA), meaning a new app will be created specifically for your intranet instance in the Slack App directory. Learn more
A ServiceNow integration is now widely available. Simpplr can search for ServiceNow tickets and knowledge base results. Learn more
User provisioning and syncing enhancements with Merge.dev integrations. Learn more
Just-In-Time provisioning enablement been added for Google SSO. This allows for better control over intranet access, ensuring that users are provisioned before gaining access on the intranet platform
Pronouns are now supported as custom fields for provisioning and syncing
Simpplr now offers an integration with Atlassian Confluence. Users can connect their support & ticketing system directly to their intranet. Learn more
UKG Pro integration - First name and hire date fields now support custom mapping

Add-on features

Orgs that have both Recognition and Native video enabled will now be able to add and record videos to Recognition posts. Learn more

Newsletter creators can now set a custom reply-to email address. This way, if users respond to the newsletter email, that response can be directed somewhere other than the initial sender address. Learn more
Recognition suite - Those who use custom recognitions and attach company values can now see the analytics for those company values. Learn more
Employee listening - Surveys can now be duplicated. This helps with sending test versions to limited users to ensure the survey is working as intended. Learn more
Users can now upload previously recorded Native video files to tiles. Learn more
Users can upload media files (images, GIFs and videos) to Recognition posts
Engagement surveys can now support 75 questions
A CSV export of Sentiment check reporting data is now available. Learn more
Users can now decide if they want sentiment/emotion analysis and trending themes in perception to be optimized for English or multilingual support. Learn more

Analytics

App managers can now see enhanced mobile analytics with deeper usage insights, including which departments are most engaged on mobile, as well as most popular content items on mobile. Learn more
A CSV export of newsletter opens and bounce data is now available. Learn more
Search and Monthly reports dashboards have been added to global analytics. Learn more

Other updates

In the Schedulers menu, scheduler description, frequency and last execution status details have been added. Learn more
Two new languages are being supported for users; Tagalog and Korean. Learn more

Mobile

Alerts are now supported on the mobile app
The ServiceNow integration is now compatible with mobile
Users can upload media files (images, GIFs and videos) to Recognition posts

Tiles are now shown on the mobile dashboard the same way as shown on the desktop dashboard. All tiles supported on the web app are now available on mobile

Users accessing the app's home and site dashboards will now see a fully synchronized view, mirroring the tile configurations from the web version. This update includes comprehensive support for:

    • HTML tiles: Display custom HTML content just as you would see on the desktop version

    • Rich text tiles: Enjoy rich text formatting for a more engaging and visually appealing content presentation on your mobile device

    • RSS feeds: Stay updated with live RSS feeds, ensuring you have the latest information at your fingertips

    • Social campaign tiles: Engage with social campaign content directly from your mobile dashboard, keeping you connected and informed

Profile settings on mobile: Users can now configure their profile settings on the mobile app. This is especially beneficial for frontline users who rely on mobile access and need to manage their account settings conveniently. The update encompasses several key areas of profile management:

  • Notifications preferences: Users can now tailor their notification settings like email, mobile, SMS, and in-app, choosing what notifications they receive and how they are notified, ensuring they stay informed in a way that suits their preferences
  • Password management: The ability to change passwords on mobile devices enhances security and convenience, allowing users to maintain their account integrity on the go
  • Security questions: Users can update their security questions and answers, adding an extra layer of security to their accounts
  • External app connections: Users can connect and disconnect external apps, providing control over integrations on mobile apps

Bug Fixes

Received digest email even though emails are currently turned off

Mobile push notifications: notificationId is missing

Search not returning content/sites when adding a tile/subscription

Clicking on the scrollbar closes the Recognition modal

Recognition for multiple team members fails to load when clicked on 'Others'

Cannot find log file email for the user provisioning and syncing from CSV on SFTP

When a test email is sent, the email appears twice

List links are not working on Mobile app (iOS)

Issue moving from one content filter to another

PDF files download as files with no extension

Unable to delete site categories

Page freezes and the scroll bar stops working randomly
