If your org is using a people data system like Active Directory, Google, or Workday or Okta, your users will be added via the connection with that system.
However, Application managers and those granted with the right permissions can also manually add new users to Simpplr one at a time or in bulk via CSV file. To add one user at a time:

There are several statuses users can fall into within the application. The graph below will help explain whether users are taking up a license, included in People directories, and more based on their Simpplr status.
Active - User has been provisioned and is activated after completing their first time login
SSO users are active by default when they are provisioned through just-in-time
SSO users are active by default when Deskless workers is disabled
Non-SSO users are in pending activation status by default and turn active post first-time login
Pending activation - User has been provisioned but hasn't been activated yet. Note that App managers will not be able to log in as or take any action on Pending users until the user(s) logs in for the first time.
If deskless is disabled, non-SSO users can be in pending activation status
If deskless is enabled, all users (SSO and non-SSO) will be in pending activation status
Inactive - User has been deactivated and is no longer active. User won't be able to login
Freeze - User is on long leave (ex: maternity). User won't be able to login
Suspended - User has exhausted recovery login tries. User won't be able to login. (Non-deskless flow only)
