Overview

Poll configuration settings have been reorganized within Manage Application to align with the platform's feature-level configuration structure. The Polls enable/disable toggle has moved to a new location, and Poll configuration now includes an AI status indicator so App Managers can confirm whether Poll generator (AI) is available without navigating to separate settings.

This applies to App Managers and administrators who configure Polls and control AI availability for Poll generator.

What changed

The Polls enable/disable toggle has moved from Manage > Application > Setup > Employee listening to Manage > Application > Setup > General.

Poll configuration now also displays an AI status indicator that reflects whether Poll generator (AI) is currently enabled or disabled, based on your AI controls settings.

Where to find the settings

Enable or disable Polls

  1. Go to Manage > Application > Setup > General.

  2. Locate the Polls toggle.

  3. Turn Polls on or off as needed.

  4. Save your changes if prompted.

If the Polls toggle is not visible, confirm you have the required App Manager or admin permissions.

Check Poll generator (AI) status

  1. Go to Manage > Application and navigate to the Poll configuration area.

  2. Find the AI status indicator.

  3. Review whether Poll generator (AI) shows as Enabled or Disabled.

To change the AI setting, open the AI controls section. This requires appropriate admin permissions.

How org settings affect user experience

  • Polls toggle (org level): Controls whether the Polls feature is available across the application. If disabled, Polls are not visible or accessible to users.

  • AI status (org level): Controls whether admins and authors can use AI to generate poll content. If disabled, AI options are hidden or unavailable in poll creation flows.

These are independent controls. Enabling Poll generator (AI) does not automatically enable Polls, and enabling Polls does not activate AI generation.
