View and manage people and site connections in mobile

Updated 2 months ago

Overview

The Connections section in the mobile app gives you a quick, organized view of your network—both the people you’re connected to and the sites you’re associated with. It helps you understand (at a glance) who you follow, who follows you, and which sites you’re a member of, follow, or manage.

How to get to Connections on mobile (navigation path)

To open Connections in the mobile app:

  1. Tap More

  2. Tap View Profile

  3. Tap Connections

This takes you to your Connections view, where your people and site connections are grouped into clear sections.

What you’ll see in Connections

People connections

In the People area, you can review:

  • Followers — people who follow you

  • Following — people you follow

Tapping Followers or Following opens the full list, so you can browse profiles and quickly jump to someone’s profile when needed.

Site connections

In the Sites area, your sites are grouped into categories such as:

  • Member — sites you belong to

  • Following — sites you follow

  • Manages — sites you manage (if applicable)

You can tap into any category to see the complete list of sites, then open a site directly from there.

How Connections helps day-to-day

Connections is especially useful when you want to:

  • Quickly check who you’re following (or who’s following you)

  • Jump to a coworker’s profile from your follower/following lists

  • See which sites you’re part of, which ones you track, and which ones you manage

  • Navigate to a site directly without searching for it elsewhere

Notes you might notice

  • If a category has no entries (for example, you’re not following anyone yet), you may see an empty state rather than a blank screen.

  • If you manage sites, the Manages category will appear; if not, you may only see Member/Following (depending on your setup).
