You can now see a newsletter's scheduled or sent date and time directly from the Newsletters list without opening the editor or checking the audit log. Hovering over the Status column shows a tooltip with the exact date, time, and timezone tied to that newsletter's current state.
Previously, confirming when a newsletter was scheduled or sent required opening the newsletter editor or the audit log. The date and time are now surfaced on hover in the Status column of the Newsletters list.
Go to the Newsletters list from your admin or newsletter management area.
Locate the newsletter you want to check.
Hover over the item in the Status column. A tooltip appears with the exact date and time.
Status | Tooltip content | Why it helps |
|---|---|---|
Scheduled | Exact upcoming send date, time, and timezone | Confirm the next send without opening the editor |
Sent | Exact past send date, time, and timezone | Verify when recipients received the newsletter |
Draft | No send time shown | Indicates no send time is set yet |
Paused or Failed | Most relevant associated time, such as the last scheduled attempt | Gives context to the state without checking logs |
"Scheduled for Tue, Aug 12, 10:00 AM (PDT)"
"Sent on Wed, Aug 13, 2:30 PM (BST)"
The tooltip displays the time in your current profile timezone. If your profile setting or the organization default timezone has changed, the tooltip reflects that on reload. For system-of-record timestamps, refer to the audit log.
Use the hover tooltip for quick checks. Open the newsletter only if you need to change content or the schedule.
Confirm the timezone shown in the tooltip when coordinating sends across regions.
Use hover tooltips to answer "when is this going out?" during team reviews without risking accidental changes to the schedule.
Pair the tooltip with your content calendar. A quick scan of the list can validate your entire week's schedule at a glance.
No tooltip appears when hovering over the Status column
What happened: You may be hovering over the title, date, or another column rather than the Status field itself.
What to do: Move your cursor directly over the item in the Status column. If the tooltip still does not appear, refresh the page and try again.
The list is not showing the latest status or date after scheduling or sending
What happened: The list may not have refreshed to reflect the most recent state.
What to do: Refresh the page after scheduling or sending to ensure the current status and tooltip content are up to date.
The time shown in the tooltip appears incorrect
What happened: The tooltip displays the time adjusted to your profile timezone. If your profile timezone setting or the organisation default has changed, the displayed time may not match your expectation.
What to do: Check your timezone setting in your profile. The tooltip will reflect the correct time on reload once the setting is updated.
No date or time appears on hover for a scheduled newsletter
What happened: The schedule may have been cleared or failed to save correctly.
What to do: Reopen the newsletter, set a schedule, save, and refresh the list. The time should then appear on hover.
You need to copy the exact timestamp shown in the tooltip
What happened: Tooltips are informational only and cannot be selected or copied directly.
What to do: Open the newsletter details page or the audit log to access a copyable version of the timestamp.
Q: Does this change how I schedule newsletters?
Ans: No. This enhancement only surfaces dates in the list view. Scheduling steps remain unchanged.
Q: Which timezone does the tooltip use?
Ans: The tooltip displays the time adjusted to your profile timezone. If the time appears unexpected, check your timezone setting in your profile.
Q: Can I see timestamps from previous sends in the tooltip?
Ans: The tooltip shows the timestamp relevant to the current status only. For historical timestamps such as previous sends or reschedules, open the audit log from the newsletter details page.
