Custom 'send content' notification messages Users now can send customized messages for in-app and push notifications, allowing for increased awareness of important notifications and better engagement with the intranet. |
New pre-built app tiles We've added more out-of-the-box tiles to the pre-built app tiles library, expanding the scope of integrations and functionalities available to users. With the new tiles, users can:
...all from the home dashboard of their intranet!

Topics updates Users with Manage topics access can now follow and unfollow a topic from the options menu, so that the feed and other content-related tiles display information related to the topics they follow. |
Custom fields support for segment creationWe now support the use of custom fields for segment creation. Simpplr allows up to 25 custom fields, any of which can be used to create segments. Similar to standard fields, custom fields must not be editable by users. Note that HTML-type custom fields cannot be used for segment creation.

Ability to hide expertise in the application We have added an app level setting that allows app managers to turn off or hide the expertise feature in your intranet. If disabled, expertise would be removed from all the features like profile, People filters, and Recognition. Note: The default setting for any migrated or new intranet is ON. The app manager can turn it OFF if needed. |
CSV syncing updates: Support for syncing manager data with non-email identifiers via CSV We now support non-email identifiers for syncing manager data, available in both CSV bulk upload and CSV SFTP flows. App managers can include a column for at least one login identifier for each user’s manager, such as "manager_email" or "manager_employee_number." Once mapped, manager data will sync successfully. |
Field mapping added for custom fieldsWe’ve added a new Field mapping feature in the Add custom field popup. This field auto-populates based on the custom field’s name but can be updated by the user in the recommended format, ensuring more user-friendly and readable mappings instead of alphanumeric IDs. |
SharePoint file/Global Search improvements Now, if SharePoint files have 'Title' assigned to them, that title will be displayed in the search results below the file name. |
