A theme establishes the global visual identity profile for your internal communications. It controls the outer aesthetic shell of your newsletters, such as logos, headers, background colours, and typography. By pre-configuring corporate themes, App Managers ensure that all content creators maintain locked organisational branding standards without needing to design layouts from scratch each time.
Go to Navigation menu > Newsletter.
Click on the create button dropdown, and choose Theme.
Configure the header & branding: upload your official corporate logo file (PNG or JPEG format). Choose your brand alignment preference: Left, Centre, or Right.
Define the colour palette: input your company's exact hex codes to lock down specific visual boundaries:
Background colour: set the default canvas colour.
Body text colour: choose a high-contrast hue for ultimate readability.
Primary link & accent colour: define the style of standard hyperlinks.
Button background & text colour: standardise call-to-action buttons.
Incorporate social connectors: add your official organisational URLs for external networks (such as LinkedIn, X, or corporate web pages) into the pre-formatted footer block templates.
Click Save theme.
Updating visuals: to refresh your branding (e.g., during a brand update or holiday season), hover over the existing theme in your directory and click Edit. Saving updates will immediately apply changes to any future drafts utilising that theme.
Cloning themes: use the Clone option to copy an existing colour framework and adjust it quickly for a specific sub-brand or regional division.
Global visibility: all successfully saved themes are instantly visible and selectable by any authorised newsletter creator across the platform.
Q: Will editing an existing theme change newsletters that have already been sent?
Ans: No. Updating a theme only affects future drafts that use it. Newsletters that have already been sent are not retroactively changed.
Q: Can I create more than one theme?
Ans: Yes. You can create multiple themes, for example, to support different sub-brands, regional divisions, or seasonal campaigns, and creators can choose the appropriate theme when building a newsletter.
Q: Who can see and use a theme once it's saved?
Ans: Any authorised newsletter creator across the platform can view and select a saved theme, helping maintain consistent branding organisation-wide.
Q: What logo file formats are supported?
Ans: Logos can be uploaded in PNG or JPEG format.
Q: What's the quickest way to set up a theme for a new sub-brand?
Ans: Use the Clone option on an existing theme to copy its colour framework, then adjust the palette, logo, and social links as needed rather than building a theme from scratch.
Q: Can I lock brand colours so creators can't change them?
Ans: Yes. Entering your exact hex codes for background, text, link, and button colours locks these visual boundaries so creators maintain consistent branding without needing to configure them individually.
