Overview of content shared during the workshop

The most common questions we get asked about activating and onboarding the mobile app: 

  • How do I get the mobile app to my employees?
  • Who can help reinforce downloading the mobile app? 
  • How should I incorporate the mobile app into the onboarding process? 

Getting the mobile app to employees (distribution) 

  • Depends on your employee makeup and what systems you have in place 
  • You will either have employees download the mobile app or you will use an MDM 

Focus on getting internal champions to help activate the mobile app with their teams 

Enabling these groups with the mobile app will help you scale efforts more efficiently:

  • Leaders (Sr. Directors and above)
  • IT, EX, and HR teams 
  • Sales teams 
  • Frontline supervisors/managers 

Onboarding people to the mobile app 

  • Add mobile app to onboarding guides: add a step in the new hire process to download the mobile app.
  • Content with "how to use the app" in your intranet: ensure you have content on your intranet with best practices on how to use the app, along with who to contact if you have questions. 
  • Training webinars/roadshows: leverage team meetings to socialize and train employees on how they can use the app. 
  • Quick start guides: have a one-pager with one-liners, QR codes, etc. to help people easily get the mobile app on their phones. 

Driving awareness of your mobile app

Use multiple channels to drive awareness about your mobile app, and think about having some unique campaigns for mobile app users. Consider: 

  • Slack/Teams campaigns 
  • Using QR codes during meetings 
  • Posters in breakout rooms 
  • Digital signage
