Overview of content shared during the workshopÂ
The Audiences feature in Simpplr helps you create employee lists that can be used across:
- Site subscriptionsÂ
- NewslettersÂ
- AlertsÂ
- Social CampaignsÂ
- SurveysÂ
You can create audiences using three methods:Â
- Syncing attributes (via people data sync)Â
- CSV uploadÂ
- Specific peopleÂ
Common use cases for audiences:Â
- All Company/OrgÂ
- Department or DivisionÂ
- Location (Country, City, State)Â
- People ManagersÂ
- Employee Level or TypeÂ
- EventsÂ

The Subscriptions feature in Simpplr helps you automatically add members/followers to a site using the Audiences feature. Subscriptions can either be:Â
- MandatoryÂ
- Non- Mandatory
Use Cases for Mandatory Site Subscriptions:Â
- All company sites (news, announcements, IT)Â
- Human Resources/Benefits
- Department sites (subscribing the department)
- Location sites (subscribing the location)Â
- People Manager sites (subscribing People Managers)Â
Use cases for Non-Mandatory Site Subscriptions:Â
- Life at Company sitesÂ
- Strategic projects sitesÂ
- DE&I sitesÂ
- Community/Clubs sitesÂ
