Overview of content shared during the workshop 

The Audiences feature in Simpplr helps you create employee lists that can be used across:

  • Site subscriptions 
  • Newsletters 
  • Alerts 
  • Social Campaigns 
  • Surveys 

You can create audiences using three methods: 

  • Syncing attributes (via people data sync) 
  • CSV upload 
  • Specific people 

Common use cases for audiences: 

  • All Company/Org 
  • Department or Division 
  • Location (Country, City, State) 
  • People Managers 
  • Employee Level or Type 
  • Events

The Subscriptions feature in Simpplr helps you automatically add members/followers to a site using the Audiences feature. Subscriptions can either be: 

  • Mandatory 
  • Non- Mandatory

Use Cases for Mandatory Site Subscriptions: 

  • All company sites (news, announcements, IT) 
  • Human Resources/Benefits
  • Department sites (subscribing the department)
  • Location sites (subscribing the location) 
  • People Manager sites (subscribing People Managers) 

Use cases for Non-Mandatory Site Subscriptions: 

  • Life at Company sites 
  • Strategic projects sites 
  • DE&I sites 
  • Community/Clubs sites
