invalid url with audio files, sourced from Simpplr site storage.

Good morning folks, I had a short question about something I can't really explain.

We store podcast files in the content/audio files storage location and then link the last one to a home page while the rest are linked in a podcast subpage.

The one we link on the home page works, 100%. The others, let's say five of the older ones + the newest (which is also linked on the homepage) do not work if we add them as files to a page.

Adding is done through "Files&attachements" and then browse to the file. 

The error we receive is "invalid URL, file not found". even copying the url and pasting it will not make it work, it stops loading at about 80%.

I tried all things magic, moving them out of folders into site audio folders, reuploading them... only the one on the homepage works, all other ones are dead in the water.

Any thoughts are welcome, the KB's don't seem the list this.
