Use this menu to set up privileges for various features across the intranet.
Alerts
Alerts allow you to show critical announcements to owners/managers of specific sites. By default, only App managers can create alerts. App managers can choose sites to give Alert access to sites, wherein the site owners/managers will now have access to publish Alerts.
The site managers will see Alert when clicking on the avatar at the upper right-hand corner. They can create alerts and see alert statistics and history. Click here to learn more about alerts.
Note
Site managers automatically have access to analytics for the sites they manage. Adding users here will give them access to analytics for the whole intranet.
Must reads
Must reads allow you to highlight essential content and see a record of who has read it. When must read control is granted to site owners & managers they can only make content 'must read' for site members.
Newsletters
Newsletters allow you to build targeted emails with content from your intranet. When newsletter control is granted to site owners/managers they can only send newsletters to site members.
Leadercast
Leadercast, part of Simpplr's Native video product, lets you record videos directly in Simpplr. Here, you can select who can use Leadercast; app managers only, all employees, or sites (site owners/managers).
Content moderation
Content moderation proactively detects inappropriate content and allows users to manually report content as well. You can assign the role of moderator to specific users granting them access to the moderation queue, analytics, and history.
Onboarding
Content selected for onboarding will appear on the onboarding dashboard of new employees for their first 30 days. It will also appear on the content page of the site each content is published in.
App managers can also enable or disable onboarding for the site level here.
