IntranetNew navigation experienceA redesigned left-side navigation is now available across the intranet for all users, replacing the previous top navigation. The updated layout improves speed and usability by reducing clicks and introducing clearer primary and secondary navigation paths. Users will also see an updated header, a streamlined profile menu, and a unified Create modal that consolidates all creation actions for faster task completion. Branding managers can take advantage of new Page and Navigation options to choose between Modern or Classic layouts and apply custom colors that reflect their organization’s visual identity. App managers can configure navigation under Manage by adding, removing, and organizing items to surface essential content and improve discoverability across the intranet. AnalyticsUpgraded App analytics dashboardsTwo upgraded App analytics dashboards are now generally available on the new analytics platform. The Enterprise Newsletter and On-site analytics dashboards have been redesigned to provide deeper insights and a more intuitive analysis experience. The upgraded dashboards highlight the most relevant KPIs for quick performance review, offer flexible time bucketing to analyze trends at different levels of granularity, and support drill-down interactions for deeper exploration. Enhanced annotations and additional data points on charts provide richer context to help teams better interpret results. This update is available for App managers and Analytics managers. |
ContentCreate feed posts and questions without leaving your pageCreating feed posts and questions is now faster and more seamless across the product. Users can start creating content from any page using the Create menu, with posts and questions opening in a modal so there’s no need to navigate away from the current page. You can publish content, attach media where applicable, and receive a confirmation once your post is live, all while staying on the same page. This update reduces interruptions, helps you stay focused on your work, and makes content creation simpler and more intuitive. The feature is available to all users. Enterprise and Global SearchMultilingual search results: See the most relevant language variantSearch results are now smarter when your content exists in multiple languages. Instead of seeing several copies of the same content in different languages, you’ll see just the most relevant version based on your preferred language (profile language). This enhancement ensures you see the most relevant and accessible content, reducing clutter and improving localization in your search experience. |
Integrations and ExtensibilityApps and links role with ABACA new Apps and Links manager role is now generally available for organizations using ABAC. This role allows admins to grant standard users permission to manage apps and links either at the organization level or for specific segments. It reduces reliance on the App manager role while enabling more granular access control, so users can manage apps and links only for the segments they are responsible for. Note: This capability is available only when ABAC is enabled and is intended for App managers. |
Workday (user auth) OAuth client setupThe Workday (User Auth) integration now supports OAuth 2.0 authentication, enabling secure access to Workday in Simpplr. Once configured, a new Workday app tile lets users view, approve, or deny time off requests directly from Simpplr, with quick access to request details in Workday. |
Employee NewsletterImproved ABAC experience in NewslettersA new, more intuitive experience is now available when ABAC restrictions apply to newsletter content. Both the newsletter editor and viewer experiences have been updated to provide clearer and more consistent signals when content is not accessible. In the newsletter editor and heatmap views, restricted content is now blurred instead of greyed out. The lock icon has been replaced with a crossed-eye icon to avoid confusion with private sites, and where space allows, content cards display a “Restricted” label for added clarity. For newsletter viewers, content restricted by ABAC is no longer shown at all. Previously, a greyed-out version appeared. This change also applies to the preview experience, ensuring recipients only see content they can access. This update is available to all users. |
Additional filters for content smart blockThe content selection experience in the Content smart block has been enhanced to make finding the right content faster and more precise. The selection modal now includes dedicated tabs for All types, Pages, Events, and Albums, replacing the earlier filter-based approach. We've also added two new filters. A Page category filter is available within the Pages tab and becomes active after selecting a site. A Topic filter is available across all tabs, making it easier to refine content selections. These enhancements are available to App managers and Newsletter managers. |
Employee ListeningCreate & manage access control groups (ACGs) for PollsPolls now support two dedicated system Access Control Groups, giving organizations clearer separation of responsibilities and more controlled delegation. The Create polls system ACG allows members to create and send polls to the entire organization and manage only the polls they create. The Manage polls system ACG allows members to create and send polls as well, but also manage polls created by other members within the same ACG. These updates strengthen clarity, governance, and flexibility in how teams oversee polling across the organization. |
Daily Email Summaries for Poll NotificationsPoll email notifications now support the Summarize daily option in notification defaults. When enabled, poll notifications are grouped into a single daily summary email instead of being sent individually. This helps reduce inbox clutter while ensuring users stay informed about poll activity. The feature is available to all users. Learn more about daily email summaries for poll notifications |
FormsForms browser notificationsForms now support browser notifications in addition to email and mobile alerts. This enhancement surfaces form notifications directly in the browser, making participation more timely and reducing the chances of missed responses. This update is available to App managers and all users. Note: Only environments with ABAC enabled will be able to use this feature for now. Learn more about forms browser notifications Close form optionForms can now be closed at any time, enabling creators and managers to stop accepting new responses when needed. Learn more about the close form option Improved form participation page experienceThe Participation page has been updated to make it simpler and easier to use. Information such as submissions, assignees, due dates, and statuses is now clearer and easier to scan, helping you quickly understand what’s happening and what needs attention. Actions and messages across the page are more consistent, making it easier to complete tasks and understand what’s going on at every step. Finding participants or submissions is faster, with better organization and clearer labels. This update is designed for admins, managers, and form owners who regularly review and manage participation in Forms. Core functionality remains the same, with improvements focused on clarity and ease of use. |

Native messagingMessaging with Audience Based Access ControlMessaging now supports Audience Based Access Control, enabling groups to be created and managed in alignment with real-world organizational structures. This provides more precise control over who can create, manage, and participate in messaging groups, supporting highly targeted communication and access governance. In non-ABAC environments, messaging groups could be created either only by App Managers or by anyone in the organization, limiting control for specific audiences. With ABAC enabled, Messaging Feature Owners can define Access Control Groups to specify eligible audiences and managers for group creation and management. This capability is backward compatible, allowing feature owners to continue enabling group creation for anyone in the organization if needed. This feature is available to App managers, End users, Messaging feature owners, Managers, and Admins. |
