AnalyticsFile analytics at app level Accessing file analytics at the application level gives you clear visibility into how natively hosted files are being used across your platform, so you can truly understand what’s resonating with your users. By surfacing file-level engagement insights, it helps you see not just what’s being accessed, but how it’s being consumed. Whether you’re managing an app or analyzing performance, this addition makes it easier to make informed, data-driven decisions that improve both content and user experience. Note that this feature does not account for files hosted on 3rd party platforms like Google Drive or SharePoint, only natively hosted files on your intranet. |

You can now add default text-only tags such as “HR” or “Q2” to any tile, with the option to include tooltips for additional context. Tags can be entered directly as text or powered by dynamic API-driven values, giving you flexibility in how you represent data. The component also supports advanced customization for greater visual clarity. API text values can be mapped to custom styles such as color, bold, or italics, making it easy to highlight distinctions like “High,” “Medium,” and “Low.” You can assign colors to specific status values like “Critical” or “Resolved” for instant visibility, with built-in fallback mapping and validation to ensure unique text-color combinations. For even richer visuals, you can map API values to icons, whether from the built-in library, a URL, or an uploaded file. Icons are supported at 20×20 pixels with rule-based mappings and a required default fallback. To make the experience seamless, all tag types are easy to configure with intuitive editing tools. Accessible validation, live previews, and persistent mappings ensure that your setup remains consistent, even when switching between configurations. This provides teams with a flexible, reliable way to add meaningful context to dashboards while maintaining clarity and consistency. Learn more about the tag component in tile builder for app tiles AI tile builder for Display tileWe’ve introduced a new GenAI-powered tile designer that makes dashboard creation faster and more intuitive. You can now simply describe the tile you want in natural language, such as “Show all open JIRA issues as a bar chart,” and AI will automatically generate the correct visualization. With one click, you can confirm the suggested setup to instantly create and preview your display tile, with fields, permissions, and data bindings already configured. The AI canvas also handles context intelligently by inferring query structure, app selection, and display type, which significantly reduces setup effort. Every AI-generated configuration is automatically versioned, allowing you to undo or roll back changes at any time. This update reduces tile creation time to just a few minutes, helping teams work more efficiently and driving greater adoption of self-service dashboards. Employee NewsletterNewsletters will now automatically use the brand font set in your Simpplr platform settings. No action is required from app managers, as the chosen brand font will seamlessly reflect across the Newsletter editor, templates, themes, previews, and even the thumbnail images in the newsletter listing. This enhancement brings newsletters into closer alignment with your company’s branding, ensuring a more consistent visual identity. However, font rendering may vary depending on the email client. While newsletters opened within the Intranet on web or mobile will display the branding font, emails viewed in external clients may fall back to a default supported font. This feature is available for all users. Learn more about branding font in newsletter Delete confirmation for draft NewsletterWhen deleting a newsletter in draft state, users will now see a warning message before the action is completed. Since draft deletion is non-reversible, this serves as an extra safeguard to confirm user intent and prevent accidental deletions. Once a draft is successfully deleted, a confirmation toast message will appear to notify the user. Learn more about deleting a newsletter in draft state Sender filter on Newsletter listing screenA new Sender filter has been introduced on the newsletter listing page to be used by the Newsletter managers. This filter lets users organize and view newsletters by their “from address,” making it easier to manage communications. This is particularly useful in scenarios where specific types of newsletters are sent from dedicated addresses the given scenario for example, CEO updates may come from one address, while weekly newsletters are sent from another. By applying the sender filter, managers can quickly locate and work with the right newsletters without confusion.
