Your Upgrade Journey - Click Steps
1. Pre-Upgrade Phase: Getting Started
This initial phase is all about preparation and alignment. You'll work closely with your Simpplr Project Manager and Technical Consultant—alongside your internal team—to complete a series of readiness tasks.
Pre-Upgrade Activities Include:
- Receive access to the Upgrade Portal
- Complete upgrade details questions to generate your tailored project plan
- Sign the Legal Addendum
- Provide admin access to Simpplr Classic
- Set up your domain (Simpplr or custom domain)
- Set up and test integrations
- Schedule your upgrade date and cutover call
The Upgrade Portal will serve as your central hub for tasks and resources throughout the project.
Set up 30-minute to 1-hour internal meetings with your team to work through Upgrade Portal tasks together. This collaborative approach helps ensure nothing is missed and keeps everyone aligned throughout the process.
What We Need From You
To ensure a successful and on-time upgrade, we'll need your support across three key resource areas: business, technical, and end-user readiness.
2. Cutover Day: The Upgrade in Action
Your upgrade will take place on a pre-scheduled date with your Simpplr team. This day is highly orchestrated, and our goal is to make the experience smooth and disruption-free.
Cutover Timeline:

What Happens to Simpplr Classic?
Simpplr Classic will remain accessible in a read-only state for up to 60 days post-upgrade. Only selected users (e.g., Admins or content reviewers) will retain access to Simpplr Classic if specified. Redirects from Simpplr Classic to Simpplr One will be available during this time.
Simpplr Classic will be fully sunset, but we'll send reminder emails out to make sure you are aware of this.

View Details🔒 Your Data is Protected During Upgrade
We prioritize the security of your data throughout the upgrade process. Your existing Salesforce backend data tied to your organization's instance will remain completely untouched during the migration to Simpplr One.
After your upgrade, any applicable backend Salesforce data will be placed in a "Locked" status for 60 days as a protective measure. This means the data remains secure and intact, but is temporarily restricted from modification.
