  Core intranet

  We are excited to announce Native messaging! Messaging is designed to enhance internal communication and collaboration across organizations. Native Messaging simplifies internal communication, offers robust moderation tools, and integrates seamlessly with our platform for a unified experience. Note that this feature is currently part of an Early Adopters Program, and will not be available to all users until the upcoming 25.01 release.  Learn more about Native messaging

  Alerts can now include or exclude recipient information that helps users understand more about alert relevance. When this box is checked, the alert will say, "The Nashville office will be closed this week due to weather. Alert issued to a custom audience (based on your location)."

  When a tile is added by selecting sites, topics, & people I follow, users will see the relevant content based on their access to the site.

  Any attachment to content can now be rearranged by drag & drop in the edit mode of the content.

  When content is shared to feed from private or unlisted sites, it can be done only to the site feed not in the home feed.

  Special features

  Employee newsletter enhancements Improved referral tracking: Previously, UTM parameters were only added to links generated by content blocks. Now, all internal newsletter links automatically include UTM parameters, enabling improved referral tracking and analytics for your newsletters. Suppress auto-replies to newsletter sender: Note: this feature is part of an Early Adopter's Program, and will not be available to everyone. Contact your CSM for more information. The goal is to enable this feature by default for all customers in upcoming releases. Newsletters now suppress all types of auto-replies (e.g. out-of-office messages), reducing clutter from automated responses. This feature is particularly beneficial when leadership email addresses are used as the sender address. It has been tested successfully with Outlook and Gmail servers. This feature is currently controlled by a feature flag and is not configurable in the UI.  Learn more about Employee newsletter

  We've made some minor UI enhancements to bring a more modern look and feel to the application. Rest assured, there are no functionality changes with this update.

  Mobile

  Mobile app users now have access to an enhanced search experience, provided it is enabled for your organization. This updated search includes: Smart answers: Get relevant, AI-powered responses to queries Federated search support: Search across multiple connected sources seamlessly (if enabled) This feature enhances the efficiency and scope of mobile search, offering a smarter and more connected experience.

  Integrations

  To keep our platform up-to-date with the latest industry standards, we have removed support for Universal Analytics (GA3) from the UI in this release. This change aligns with Google's deprecation of Universal Analytics in favor of their new generation solution Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Click here to learn more about GA4 from the Google Help site.   Other changes/Important to note:

  We have removed the 'Login as' option from the Manage > Users menu. This functionality will be reintroduced with the enhancements to have more robust flow for app managers logging in as other users, while retaining the benefit of troubleshooting and testing.
