    Core intranet

    • Simpplr's content moderation feature now offers notifications to moderators. When a piece of content is flagged by AI or by a user, content moderators can quickly triage the problems as they come up. Clicking on the notification takes the moderators to the queue.

    • Content cover images can now be chosen from Unsplash. Unsplash hosts over 5 million free images and stock photos you can use. Image credits are displayed directly below the image. Check out the Simpplr Curated Collection on Unsplash for image inspiration!

    • App managers can now see the remaining license count and active users count from Manage > Account > License details. To calculate remaining license count, we subtract the active, frozen, suspended and users pending profile completion from the total licenses.
    • We've introduced the ability to connect multiple SSOs to your intranet environment. This feature allows app managers to enable multiple SSO methods, enhancing flexibility and accommodating diverse authentication preferences within the system.

    • We've introduced Single logout as a feature. This functionality enhances application security and user experience as it allows a user to log out from all applications or services that are part of the SSO system with a single action.
    • As a new part of Simpplr Search, Smart answers is an AI-powered tool that aims to streamline the information retrieval process. It provides users, based only on the content they have access to, with a concise and relevant answer to their queries, eliminating the need to navigate through numerous web pages and click on multiple links. With Smart answers, users can quickly find the latest and most reliable information without hassle.

    • My team: My team dashboards now take into account which employee profile fields are editable for profile completeness. This will increase accuracy of engagement and reduce misunderstandings.

    • Analytics: App and site manager monthly analytics emails now respect the users' settings for which emails to receive. In other words, users can decide whether or not they want to receive these emails.
    • Audiences can now be set up using Active Directory groups.

    • App managers can now test email deliverability to any specified email address. In Manage > Application > Email, click Test deliverability and input the address you'd like to test with.  test emails.jpg
    • You should receive an email similar to the image below to confirm emails are being sent.test emails 2.jpg
    • App managers can set up compliance BCC emails in Manage > Application > Email by providing the email address to which they would like email copies to be delivered. For compliance reasons all emails generated for their account are copied to the configured email address, except system emails like password reset.
    • App managers can choose to opt in or opt out of participation in Simpplr AI features training based on their usage. Note that by default, and currently, no Simpplr AI features are being trained using your org's data.
    • The Campaigns management menu has moved to the Analytics menu.

    Mobile

    • Rewards will be supported on mobile.

    Special features

    • Recognition: Simpplr has introduced rewards to the Simpplr Recognition suite. With Rewards, app & recognition managers, as well as those with permissions, can distribute allowances to your intranet users each month. The rewards program is a point-based system, where the recognition manager sets a recurring allowance for users each month (point values can vary), and those points can be exchanged for prizes, all done directly in your Simpplr intranet.

    • Employee newsletter: Segment-based newsletter branding is now available. If your org is using segments, the newsletter manager can choose to have each recipients' newsletter match their segment's branding, or customize newsletter themes for all recipients.
