Improvements
Core intranet

- Border colors are now supported in the content editor
- The content editor is now available in rich text tiles on home and site dashboards
- Files: Site managers can now remove files that they do not own from their sites. Note that they cannot permanently delete files that they do not own from the intranet. That permission remains only with App managers. Learn more about file permissions on Simpplr
- Users with Topic management permissions can now follow or unfollow Topics from their profiles menu, then Manage > Topics. In addition, End users and non-Topic managers can navigate to the Topic menu by clicking any Topic on a feed post. From there, they'll see a list of Topics, where they can follow or unfollow any.
Mobile
- Analytics: We've introduced an enhanced mobile analytics adoption widget into the mobile app dashboard. This new widget offers a much deeper dive into mobile adoption by departments, locations, etc. and has new table functionality including pagination (show more button) and column based sorting. Learn more
- Users can now upload audio files directly from their devices on the home/site/content feed. In addition, audio files can be played on your mobile device
- Users can now connect their Confluence and Dropbox accounts (if connected at the application level by an App manager) from the mobile app. Users can also search Confluence and Dropbox files from the global search on mobile
-
Users can now find the Onboarding content assigned to them under the side navigation Onboarding section on mobile
- Users can now use the Content moderation feature on mobile. Report feed posts/comments as offensive and give a reason for the report. Once marked offensive the request will be sent to the content moderator, who will decide if they will keep or remove the post
Special features
- Employee Newsletter: We've introduced enhanced input validation for URL fields: All URL fields in the content editor now have input validation, preventing users from entering potentially malicious code. This ensures secure and accurate data entry
- Employee Newsletter: We've expanded the "MailTo" link functionality: Previously, users could only add "MailTo" links to text blocks. Now, this feature has been expanded to include buttons and image blocks as well
- Native Video: App managers and those with permissions will now see video analytics in the Manage > Analytics > Content menu. You can now see lists for the most and least viewed videos across the intranet. Learn more
