Core intranet

• People 2.0: Simpplr has enhanced user profiles to include a richer, more user friendly design and functionality. Users now have more control over profile fields like name pronunciation, pronouns and contact info. Learn more

• The Celebrations tile on home and site dashboards now allows you to select from 'People I follow'. This will display a list of users from the intranet that you follow. Learn more

• In Manage site > Page categories menu, Site managers can now perform bulk deletions with existing page categories. Note that if a page category is being used in any content, it cannot be deleted. You must first remove the category from the content.

• Users with Manage topics permissions can now bulk delete topics.

• In the Manage site > Content tab, Content and Site managers can now add new content directly from this menu.

• Content creators can now use page templates, which provide a simpler way to duplicate formatting, content images, names and more without having to create a new piece of content from scratch every time. Learn more

• The Apps launcher now supports app names along with the icons, and can display up to 15 apps at once.

Integrations

• Simpplr now offers an integration with Atlassian Confluence. Users can connect their support & ticketing system directly to their intranet. Learn more

• Simpplr can now accommodate any Identity Provider (IDP) supporting SAML 2.0. Before, our SSO capabilities were tailored for Okta, Azure, Google, Onelogin and Workday. However, if a customer requires SSO with DUO or JumpCloud for example, we can seamlessly support it with a generic SAML 2.0 framework. Learn more

Special features

• Employee newsletter analytics dashboard has been updated to reflect better metrics while highlighting important tooltips to understand your data.

Mobile

• Video upload/record on recognition posts: When giving recognition, users will now see the option to upload or record a video and attach it to their recognition post. Just like when adding a video to a feed post, this will allow users to select the video from their device or allow them to record one on the recognition post. Once uploaded and processed it will appear with the recognition in the feed or the hub and be able to be played. Learn more 

• Profile 2.0: User profiles now have a few additional fields like Pronouns, Pronunciation, Assistant, and Social media links. Users on our latest app 5.0.2/5.00.20 will see these fields if added from the web. Learn more
